The Dosches Mill

Discover the superb Moulin 5kms from the gîte, on the heights of the village of Dosches. Also worth seeing is the medicinal plant garden, the bakehouse, the tithe barn… Various activities, Flour from the mill during occasional events.

Espace faune de la forêt d'Orient

This animal park, managed by the Forêt d’Orient Regional Natural Park, is a natural area with conservation and educational purposes, home to large herbivores.
Located on a peninsula of Lac d’Orient, this park offers the opportunity to observe European wildlife in semi-freedom in the heart of the Forêt d’Orient: deer and wild boar, as well as elk, bison, mouflons, and fallow deer. This walk will delight the whole family, whether you choose a self-guided tour or a guided tour on certain days of the week (see calendar).

Bike and electric bike rental located on the edge of the lake, close to the cycle path to travel the 3 lakes up to 110 km with high-end equipment or the Orient Lake over 50 km.

Cité du Vitrail

You can complete your visit with the Apothecary’s Shop of the Hôtel-Dieu-le-Comte, one of the most beautiful in France, in its original setting from the early 18th century.

Lakes Cycle Route

Discover the Aube differently with the Grands Lacs cycle route; 42 km reserved for bikes and roller skates to discover the beach of Lusigny, the pedal boats in Géraudot, the wildlife area or a visit to a half-timbered church in Mathaux.

Lake of Forêt d'Orient
